Developing emotionally healthy leaders

We help leaders understand themselves and recognise their potential. This involves learning about individual preferences and styles and the way in which this impacts on all aspects of our lives, particularly in the way we work with and lead others. This work can then be translated to team and organisation  transformation.

The leader of a group of people has the ability to impact everyone’s emotions and therefore affect performance.

To get the most from people today, it is important to know how to generate active participation and engagement and give people the opportunity to be in control of what they create. This requires the ability to inspire others as well as to coach, mentor, and sponsor development and share both wisdom and knowledge with others. We believe the starting place is self-realisation, understanding oneself and realising potential.

Emotionally healthy leaders take personal responsibility 

At high levels of ‘Emotional Health’, leaders recognise and make conscious choices in the behaviours they will use. These choices reflect their knowledge of and compassion and empathy with those they are leading and with whom they work.

The integration of thinking, feeling and ‘knowing’ is also present in emotionally healthy leaders. They rely on all three centres of intelligence to inform and guide them in their relationships and in the way they work.

We work with boards, and senior leaders across the private, professional, community and public sectors with unique approaches to leadership and culture through raising emotional health levels. We have also integrated the Enneagram with emotional health in a distinctive development tool - the Global Leadership Profile – which is used with leaders, teams and organisations as part of their transformation.

The Global Leadership Profile™ is a 360° assessment and feedback process that measures a combination of internal thinking and external behaviour, from one’s own perspective and from the point of view of others. 

It can also be used to measure the current effectiveness of teams and cultures and provides a starting point in establishing where an individual, team or culture is and what that might mean for their ongoing development.
