When an organisation identifies a change in its vision, purpose, values and/or strategic direction it is critical that the culture is aligned to continue to support the direction of the organisation, and to support and develop people within the organisation to meet ongoing and future needs.

Over the past 20 years, we have worked with many organisations that have experienced an ever-increasing requirement to do more with less

This situation is usually aligned with the need for a greater business focus in order to deal with the changes that are required. Very often this drives a need to rebuild or renew the organisation’s culture with a fresh focus on its reason for being.

What we know is that the toughest part of achieving organisational transformation is to find new ways of working rather than persisting with the systems and processes that brought the business to this point.

Adapting to what seems like yet another new reality, it is tempting for leaders to look for ways to transform their organisation’s culture

The intention is usually to re-energise, to re-focus on the reason for being and to renew the organisation’s spirit. However, in our experience, we have found that cultural renewal needs to be carefully planned and implemented if it is to provide long-lasting and resilient benefits to the organisation, its people and those it serves.

Renewal calls for a striving to involve the people of the organisation in determining what is both important and meaningful. It focuses on achievements and opportunities for improvement related to the organisation and its mission as well as the aspirations that people hold for their own development within this.

We help facilitate, plan and implement support in the area of strategic direction, planning and structural review.

This includes mentoring and supporting boards and senior leadership teams as they develop, implement and review their strategic plans and performance.

We also support organisation renewal and cultural transformation through an innovative and collaborative approach to organisation change that has made a difference at all levels of government, as well as in the private, not-for-profit and professional sectors.
