Opening Doors - A Community Leadership Program for Social Inclusion

Opening Doors - A Community Leadership Program for Social Inclusion[/caption]In 2013, we were proud to be collaborating once again with Opening Doors - A Community Leadership Program For Social Inclusion as they celebrated 5 years of making a real difference in communities. In December, 16 leaders from diverse backgrounds and communities in the Inner-East municipalities of Manningham, Booroondara, Whitehorse and Monash graduated from the 6-month leadership program having been on a personal leadership journey and intitated projects that remove barriers to social inclusion. Some of these initatives included ReCycle - an bicycle repair program for at-risk kids and the creation of an inter-faith soccer team in Manningham to celebrate cultural and religious diversity. We congratulate the Project Manager Alex Mills from the Inner East Primary Care Partnership and all the graduates over the past 5 years for making Opening Doors a wonderful example of community leadership in action.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
