Global Leadership Foundation invites you to participate in a unique leadership experience, especially designed for those leaders who:

• are exploring meaning and purpose for themselves and as leaders

• are rethinking the way in which they relate to others, their organisations and the communities in which they operate

• want to engage in work that makes a difference to the world around them

• are prepared to have their current thinking and experience around leadership challenged.

About the experience

We are proud to partner with the Arid Recovery Centre, an ecosystem restoration initiative based on Kokatha country in the South Australian outback and dedicated to the restoration of Australia's arid lands.

This 4-day/3-night experience provides the opportunity to contribute to a significant ecological project. At the same time, it offers leaders the time to critically and thoughtfully reflect on themselves and their businesses – particularly in identifying ways to evolve their present day leadership practice into one that addresses corporate and social responsibility and the need for an environmentally sustainable world.

Our approach is to blend the work of the Arid Recovery team with a small group of leaders (no more than eight) who will work together while also reflecting and sharing their wisdom and experience around a range of contemporary leadership themes. These themes might include areas such as stewardship, ecological sustainability, challenging accepted business practice, comfort with ambiguity, collaboration or competition, leading and following. Facilitators from Global Leadership Foundation will lead the experience.

This year's program

In 2025, we will offer just one of these experiences, taking place between August 22 and 25.

Participants will typically depart from Adelaide airport early on day 1 for a flight to Olympic Dam. The rest of that day and the following two days will incorporate the experience, before returning to Adelaide on the morning of day 4.

Upon registration we can support you in planning your trip and will provide a comprehensive list of what to bring, given our remote location.

Your investment for the Arid Recovery Leadership Experience is AUD$2250 (exclusive of GST) and includes:

• transfers from Olympic Dam to Arid Recovery (and return)

• transport on Arid Recovery land

• all accommodation and meals

• all infrastructure and facilitation costs associated with the 4-day and 4-night experience.
