By now many of you will have heard the both exciting and sad news that our Business Manager Meagan Williams is leaving us for a new opportunity as Two Feet Program Manager with The Difference Incubator – a social enterprise consultancy based in Melbourne.
We are so proud of what Meagan has contributed both to Global Leadership Foundation and the broader community over the last five years. She has an amazing capacity to see the potential in each person she meets and each situation she faces, and she always treats everyone with dignity and respect. Meagan is a true role model and leader in her work in diversity, social justice and inclusion. She has also become a skilled and capable facilitator – feedback from colleagues and clients has reinforced for us how well respected she is and how effective her work is.
Meagan has provided a strong focus for us on the effectiveness and relevance of the grants we make from the Global Leadership Fund (she is our conscience) and her vigilance around these grants having an impact has ensured we have used the money wisely in raising the emotional health levels on the planet. It was her focus in this area that resulted in Global Leadership Foundation being accredited as a B Corp and achieving Best in the World for 2016.
Meagan’s contribution to Global Leadership Foundation has been multifaceted and always outstanding and finding someone to ‘fit into her shoes’ won’t be easy.
Of course, Meagan will continue to be a Fellow and will connect back in with us in many different ways. As she said to us, ‘This is not goodbye, just goodbye in the role as we knew it.’ We wish Meagan every good fortune and great success as she takes this fantastic next step. We will truly miss her gracious presence and incredible contribution (and her gorgeous smile) in the Global Leadership world, yet we also know that the next way we collaborate together with her will be even more powerful and amazing for all of us.
