  • What keeps a leader ‘above the line’ – taking personal responsibility for their actions and enabling others to do the same?

Karen Mahlab AM of Pro Bono AustraliaBridget Blackford from Triskel Consulting and Gayle Hardie and Malcolm Lazenby from Global Leadership Foundation invite you to join them at their next BConscious Leadership breakfast on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 to explore these questions with Karen Mahlab AM of Pro Bono Australia.

Growing up in a household where her mother was at the forefront of the ‘70s women’s movement and her father (at the same time) owned the bawdy theatre restaurant Dirty Dicks, Karen grew up navigating complexity. It’s not surprising then that most of her life has been spent navigating the ‘in between’ and the ‘grey’ and developing initiatives that push the traditional boundaries and crossing sectors.

Pro Bono Australia is one of those initiatives: creating a space to give a voice to the emergence of the common good and a media hub for the common good used by over one million Australians annually. In recognition of her work, Karen was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia in 2015. She has sat on many boards and committees over time.

Register below and meet us at the Henley Club for an amazing conversation, a cup or two of Jasper coffee (another great B Corp) along with a croissant and jam. $10 will cover expenses.
