Self-mastery for leadership – Series commencing June 6 (Europe-friendly times)

This is an online event. Please see below for sessions times in various time zones.

Leadership is a performing art, a science, a profession, a position and a function of a larger management role. Leadership can also be a very demanding human process that involves interpersonal, group and organisational skills, along with an understanding of the organisation and its environment.

However, there is one skill central to leadership, in any form, that cannot only improve the productivity of the workforce but can also build and strengthen your own leadership capability. That skill is self-mastery.

Building self-mastery enables you to improve your ability to succeed under pressure and increase your emotional health. It nurtures and grows your communication skills in a way that integrates self-understanding and self-control in a workplace context. And it allows you to move more easily towards your goals with discipline, persistence and focus.

The program

Join Global Leadership Fellow Delbar Niroushak over four 2-hour online sessions to explore your current behavioural management skills, understand your own levels of self-mastery and cultivate your leadership capability.

As a result, you will:

  • gain a greater understanding of your own value in making decisions
  • increase your understanding of how you think and behave in different situations given your level of self-mastery
  • strengthen ways of using self-mastery skills for daily work and life balance
  • increase your own self-esteem, self-confidence and self-awareness
  • be more effective and efficient in your relationships with colleagues
  • empower your own personal skills and self-development
  • become aware of how to encourage the development of your unique identity, increase happiness and motivation.
